Ancient Hijazi scripts inspire the King Abdulaziz Darah Typeface. It balances solid and fluidity, making it one of the most distinctive Arabic typefaces, originally designed by Mr. Kameel Hawa. The letterforms reflect the spirit and vision of the Darah. However, the previous version of the typeface contained several issues, both in its drawing and technical engineering.

The original version included three weights and supported Arabic only. Based on this, we restructured the entire font file and redrew the typeface from scratch. A light weight was added, and the font family was reorganized while resolving all engineering issues. We also enhanced the Arabic letterforms and corrected all prior design flaws.

Additionally, we designed basic Latin characters in four weights that align visually with their Arabic counterparts, along with Arabic numerals and punctuation marks.

تعكس أشكال حروفه روح ورؤية الدارة. كان الخط في نسخته القديمة يحتوي على عدة مشاكل سواء في الرسم أو البرمجة.

النسخة القديمة كانت تتكون من ثلاثة أوزان وتدعم اللغة العربية فقط. بناءً على ما سبق، قمنا بإعادة ضبط الملف وإعادة رسم الخط بالكامل من الصفر، مع إضافة وزن خفيف وإعادة تنظيم عائلة الخط مع إصلاح مشاكل البرمجة. كما عملنا على تطوير وتحسين الحروف العربية وتصحيح جميع المشاكل السابقة.

تم تصميم الحروف اللاتينية الأساسية إلى الخط بأربعة أوزان متناسقة مع تصميم نظيراتها العربية، إلى جانب الأرقام العربية وعلامات الترقيم.
