Introdaction:
Maghrib Thuluth is a style of Arabic calligraphy that originated in North Africa and is known for its large size and ornate design. The first step in designing the Maghrib Thuluth font was to study the basic principles of the style. This includes understanding the proportions and shapes of the individual letters, as well as the overall structure of the script. Maghrib Thuluth is characterized by its large size and ornate lines; the challenge was how to create a digital version of this style that maintains these characteristics. For two years, we worked to develop this font, study the shapes of the letters, find solutions in drawing and engineering them, and add the flexible kashida. We are very proud to launch the first digital version of this script.
