About Taleed Thuluth Font
Taleed typeface is a digital interpretation of the traditional Thuluth script. The project was executed with exceptional artistic and technical precision due to the complexities that make Thuluth one of the most challenging Arabic scripts to adapt into a functional typeface.
The letterforms were developed based on the calligraphic models (mashqāt) of the calligrapher Mohamed Shawqi (may he rest in peace), with carefully considered modifications to suit contemporary typesetting needs—while preserving the spirit and authenticity of the Thuluth script.
The typeface is designed to perform efficiently in both body text and display titles. The main objective behind its development was to expand its usability beyond traditional manuscripts and decorative headings.
